The Czech Republic Sprint Championship closed the Czech Cup in wild water. In the first weekend of September (04. – 05.09) several decisive races took place. On Saturday, there was a fight for championship titles in the team race, Sunday belonged to individual fights. Sunday's race decided on the new champions of the republic, on the overall ranking of the Czech Cup and also on the nomination for the upcoming world championship, which will take place at the end of September in Bratislava. The race also included the European Cup, which was attended by a total of seven countries

Nové mistry České republiky v dlouhém sjezdu proškolila divoká řeka Vltava. Pod lipenskou přehradou, která se pouští jen jednou ročně, proběhl sedmý Český Pohár a zároveň mistrovský šampionát ve sjezdu na divoké vodě. Novopečeným mistrem na singlkanoi se stal Ondřej Rolenc. Mezi kajakářkami zazářila Zuzana Dziadková. Po třetí v řadě obhájil dres šampiona Adam Satke. Mezi ženami, tentokrát na singlkanoi dominovala Marie Němcová a pro čtvrté vítězství v této disciplíně si dojela posádka Daniela Suchánka a Ondřeje Rolence na deblkanoi.

The European wildwater Championships kicked off on Wednesday 25 August. Competitors from the juniors and U23 took part in the start of the championship. A total of seventeen European countries are taking part in the race. The majority countries in this sport, such as the Czech Republic, France, Germany and Italy, are among the absolute world leaders. The Czech team has a total of thirty-four representatives.

The team sprint closed the European Championship in Saber, Spain. The second half of the championship took place on the spritn channel. On Friday (13.08) were the first and second qualifying races in all categories. The next day (14.08) the finals took place in the morning and at the end the team race took place.

Paddlers from 9 participating countries showed us their current skills and conditions during past weekend 8.-9.8.2020 in Ceske Vrbne in Czech Republic, where ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup was happend. More than 200 athletes in senior and over 100 paddlers in junior categories and we could see medallists from European and World Championships were at the podium.
Special congratulations to french paddler Luca Barone, who defeated current K1 World Champ Nejc Znidarcic at Sunday's sprint with his TONGA, also to Slovenian racer Blaz Cof for double win in C1 with Limax and Martina Satkova for her "classic" multiwin in K1&C1 during weekend!!
